#shorts Did you know that circuit breakers will wear out over time for various reasons.
Here's an example of one I came across at my Church.

I am proud of how you take care of your church, Tom.
There is going to be a lot of stars in your crown, Brother! Thanks for this one.

Thank you so much. You were able to get right to the point after i was pulling my hair out trying to suffer through 15 minutes of others hemming and hawing about

Electrical troubleshooting in churches are difficult. So many jacklegs have "helped" out and didnt do things the right way. This guy seems to be doing it right....

My 1965 mobile home has the original breakers.
Built differently back then.

If the lights in that room went off during your monolog this would have been a 10 instead of 9.5.😅

It's called planned obsolescence. Bet you didn't know that.

Special thanks to Jeff Bezos for taking time out of his busy schedule to teach us about this!

You left the part out where you put a current clamp on it and made sure it wasn’t actually pulling just over the breaker rating.

The breaker is designed to trip on overload on an inverse time basis. In other words, the more overloaded, the faster it trips.

If you haven’t checked the current through the breaker, you have no idea if it’s functioning as designed.

Also if the wires are all double tapped or wattage on fuse is not high enough

So.... I had a problem with my hot water heater one of the anode robs just fried out of nowhere now I got everything new I mean I did it all but replace the actual tank and now it gets no power. It doe have a jumper box like one of a outside ac unit. You pull this breaker bar kind of thing out and it cuts the electricity to the hot water heater I did turn off the breaker before I even pulled that out. Now I'm getting nothing from thet box or my hot water heater. You think it's the double breaker I shut off? If so I would set my multimeter to voltage over 200 and touch each breaker eith the red and black correct? Shoukd read 220 v? Right? Or am I not understanding? I hope you do get back to me if not I'm positive I'll figure it out. I've has such bad luck lately I just really hope it's a breaker and not something more serious. I mean such bad luck it's very alarming. 😪

I have flickering lights on a circuit. I suspect the breaker is bad or loose.
