I can't imagine it's worth the money for for new feature that might actually get used. Now they've driven away so many people with their subscription model I really figured they'd make Elements more competitive, but I guess not. Here's hoping Elements 13 is better than v12.

why would they add monthly subscription to premiere pro and make premiere elements so bland to use. people that want to make a video wants a video editing software, not a slide show making elements

The new version of Elements looks disappointingly pointless. Lots of useless social media integration. It seems there's only one single thing worth looking at which is Content Aware move. All the useful things such as 64-bit support still aren't here. I've no idea on what the upgrade path is because after thirty minutes on the site I still couldn't find any details. I can't imagine it's worth the money for for new feature that might actually used.
