This video is an overview of a typical tower control based rescue. Tower control may be needed if your ropes are of insufficient length to operate a ground control based rescue. A tower control rescue is more difficult for the rescuers going up as they will need to bring up all their equipment and facilitate the entire rescue on their own.

A tag line is utilized to offset the victim as he is lowered.
