How to Select a Hockey Shin Guard

It seems that I measure 15.5" measuring from the top of my skate (Graf Supra 535) boot to the middle of my knee. Should I go for 15" guards, which leave a small (.5") gap in coverage, but I can get a deeper knee bend and seem to turn better; or 16" and have a bit of restriction/interference? I currently have 17" guards over the tongue to protect where my foot and ankle meet but have not been slashed/hit with a puck there save for once. The 17" guards definitely impede my knee bends and crossovers resulting in slower speeds etc.

Are Warrior Shin Guards made smaller then Reebok? I'm wearing 15'' with Warrior (Hustlers). I'm about to buy a pair of Jofa's and don't know if I should go with a 15'' or 14''.

Hey Tyson im trying to find the right size for my shingaurd used to have a jr 12" pad then I ordered a ccm v10 size 14" senior but it was too big so will I be okay with a Senior 13" shingaurd?

i had a Bauer one75 crack at the knee pad, should i replace the entire shin guard or can i use a glue of somesort to fix?

hello im a 6`1 (185cm). I have a fitlite 6k rbk in 16" but its totally loose on the kneecap and it seems too big. I dont have any inces left from the ankle but 15" seems too small :D. should i buy 15 or stick with 16? maybe i must have a more or better fit like the easton vapor series. I have a small knee overall. sorry for bad english im from sweden :D
