Apple babka recipe: the perfect comfort food!

THIS is the sweet recipe you should be baking this fall!INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
 230ml (¾ cup) warm milk;
 230g (1 4/5 cup) all-purpose flour;
 200g (1 ¼ cups) 00 flour;
 90g (⅜ cup) soft butter;
 80g (3/8 cup) sugar;
 4 eggs;
 15 g (2 tbsp) fresh yeast;
 ½ tsp vanilla sugar;
 a pinch of salt.
 
For the filling:
 3 medium green apples;
 40g (⅛ cup) butter;
 40g (¼ cup) sugar;
 1 tsp cinnamon;
 Almond flakes;
 Egg wash.
 
METHOD

 Combine warm milk with half of the sugar and fresh yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes.
 Add eggs, vanilla and salt, then mix liquids with both kinds of flour.
 Knead the dough until smooth (around 10 minutes), then cover and set aside for 1 hour.
 Make a quick apple filling by melting butter and adding chopped apples (peeled and cored), sugar and cinnamon. Cook for 3 minutes. Let cool down.
 Roll out the dough to make a rectangle (around 30 by 40 cm). Spread apple filling and roll the dough into a log.
 Slice the dough in half lengthwise almost all the way up, then braid into halves.
 Place into a baking mold, then set aside for 1 hour.
 Brush apple babka with egg wash and sprinkle almond flakes on top.
 Bake at 180C/350F for 60 minutes.

yeah, looks real good except the recipe is a mess! None of the grams match the measuring cups so which one to use. complete failure pfft You really need to fix it! Ingredients are expensive!
