To add to the point of Venom being weaker in his second movie is because all he had was chicken brains and chocolate just to curb his hunger, but needs human brains to keep up his symbiote strength. He can still eat other organs for sustenance, but the brain is the most potent for symbiotes to keep their strengths at their peaks.

Eddie not letting Venom eat human brains for that 1.5 years really did diminish his power along with the weaknesses of sound/fire, the amount of times he was stabbed, and Carnage being a stronger symbiote to his father Venom.

Misinformation. Venom hadn’t eaten a human (brain, not whole body) since the ending of the 2018 movie. LTBC apparently takes place 1.5 years/18 months later. As for the rocks, more than 2 and those weren’t even rocks but chunks of rubble. Same thing with the Spider-Man clip you showed where he also struggled. Venom had just been in a fight with Carnage including his sound weakness used against him several times and getting stabbed dozens of times. That’s why Venom struggled to lift the rubble, in addition to his host also being weakened and the rubble landing on him from high up. Venom is actually stronger than Carnage in the movie but Carnage is deadlier/more powerful

You are forgetting ONE detail, Carnage’s bond is stronger than Venom’s as Venom and Eddie refer to themselves as WE, but Carnage and Cletus refers to them as I, it shows how they consider themselves as one being, and showing how well bonded they are
