Frfr. I work for a commercial roofing company. This is about the simplist way I've seen this explained. Yet it's the best understood

Thank you for this, especially since you make it seem feasible for most small repairs. I was at my favorite hardware store yesterday, asking about things to patch a rubber roof, and a younger "know it all" clerk made it sound difficult and expensive, and that I shouldn't even try it. I appreciate you keeping it simple!

Our experience with the GEOCEL 4500 Roof Bonding Sealant on industrial EPDM roof jobs has been very good.
The product says it applies and cures in moist and underwater conditions.
Hard to believe but it really works.
Thanks for this video. I haven't seen it but roofers need a gadget to
attach to a wet/dry vac that acts like a flexible circumferential suction pad around an open roof work.

The round the corners because it helps it stay down and not lift up over time... the same goes for pipe, vent etc (and its also harder for water to get in.)

I always put cover strip down over puncture, the cut a piece of form flashing 3 inches bigger then the cover. Re prime and lay it down over the cover strip. Prime all the edges and lap seal the whole patch. Little over kill I know, but I’ve never had a repeat leak on a EPDM roof.

Great video!!! One quick question. Is there a reason you didn't seal the top and bottom of the patch? Thanks for any help you can give!

I started in the early roofing running a kettle. I've removed coal tar pitch and put it right back down. Eyes so burnt could not find latter to get down
