Donald Trump’s VP choice may negatively impact his chances in the November general election while Kamala Harris’s VP pick has reenergised her base, says Patrick Murray, director of Monmouth University Polling Institute.

Kamala Harris not only did extremely well against Mike Pence in debate, she also had a strong and memorable appearance in the Democratic Primary debate in 2019, in which she accurately foresaw and depicted Donald Trump as the greatest threat facing America; and that's well before January 6th and ahead of all of Trump's criminal insurrectionist actions.

When you watch Vance handling difficult media interviews, you can see why he was a good choice. Patient, good humoured, fluent, quick on his feet.
