LEGO STORAGE UNITS - BEST DECISION EVER!

In today's video I am going to show you guys something I should have bought YEARS ago. Now you see the large youtube LEGO people who have these behind them and someone like myself thought ok thats for people who have massive piece collection. Buuuuuuuut no I realize that I was completely wrong and that I should have been using these for a long time now. I am super excited for these and am happy I got them. Storing my LEGO has always been a pain and finally these are making it easier for me. I got two to start and now am going to add probably 3 more.

You don't have to have a massive collection if you want to be organized. Even if you get one and it makes your lie easier with LEGO than in my opinion its worth the purchase.

Looks like a great storage system, I’m curious to see the wall of storage when it’s finished! Makes sense it would be way easier to sort through pieces that way instead of in big bins just sorted by colour. This is the way.

I use the same ones. I use labels to show me the general part number as well as I've glued one piece on the front of the drawers so I can easily locate the parts I need. some drawers only have a few parts in them but I know that we'll get more and its way more organized. Thanks for the video.

I’m currently updating my kitchen pantry storage from Oxo containers to Ball Mason jars as the jars are dishwasher safe unlike the clear Oxo containers. I regret buying the expensive Oxo containers for my kitchen as I dreaded hand washing them whenever contents were changed. So, I’ve given my children the clear Oxo containers and those work REALLY well for large Lego pieces or large collections of mini figure pieces as you can see all around the clear plastic. However, these drawer storage units you have are definitely a great storage solution for the smaller pieces and/or small amounts of odd things. I’ll be buying some of those. Thanks!

Thanks for the idea. Lowes sells craftsman bins that are similar. It's a modular system where units are stackable. Happy building!

dude I just got one of these for my daughters Lego sets. cause they were invading the house lol. and they literally are perfect for my old Gijoe collection lol. I have a bunch and these are so much better than the storage containers I currently use. so now im planning to buy one for myself for all my Gijoe figures and accessories.

Nice, I got something similar either last year or in 2019 (the pandemic has blurred time for me :P). Prior to that I had all my spare parts in one big plastic box. I made the mistake of sorting by colour though. I really should've sorted by type of piece instead. Oh well, time to resort them. :S

I got that same one and I like it great for my small pieces and my very few technic pieces. And still have pieces in ziploc bags at the moment.

I bought one of these units. The cubby drawers are flimsy as heck. You cannot fill them up past 75% capacity or else they will jam up when trying to slide them out. These aren't the best option for everyone.
