I love early lunch. The only motive for postponing lunch for me would be a full breakfast, with eggs, bacon/salumi, fruit salad, cheeses.

I'm 76, and my meals and sleep are all over the map. I could never be in a family again. People would be frustrated with me :D

Same in the Czech Republic. Needless to say most Czechs are early birds, they wake up at 6 am or even earlier, it goes without saying you might grow hungry by 11. Whereas the average Italian guy believes that standing up at 7:00 is early..

I dont know what kind of people you hang out with in Hungary, but lunch is at 12:00, mate.

He's right about about dinner, though.

Dinner at 8-9? Children should go to bed around that time, not eating, so for families 6-7 looks more realistic. IMO.

I don't get it in my experience Budapest is one the wildest nightlife in EU and has plenty of late night options
