Florida woman arrested for copycat insurance company threat

A Florida woman is being accused of threatening an insurance company, an apparent copycat attempt replicating points of the UnitedHealthcare CEO killing. CBS News' Manuel Bojorquez reports.

This woman had no intent. It was an angry outburst that arguably wasn't even a threat. This woman is nitva threat to anyone. This is a gross overreaction. It's not justice.

It's not a copycat. She was basically calling out the insurance company. They delay, they deny and depose peoples claims. That's what insurance companies do. It the same reason why so many American are empathetic towards the the young shooter 🤔. People identify with the frustration of not having their insurance claims be approved and they or their family members suffered. The judge is over reacting in my opinion.

How many times have we heard of a woman being killed by her ex. Then we learn that she went to the police station and reported the threats, and the police say that they can't do anything until he acts? Why does it matter more for a wealthy corporation?

The saying written on the shell casing was not a threat, it was a statement. it's how the insurance companies treat people. and could definitely be seen as you're the next person whose insurance claim is going to be denied.

Ok all the people on here that are saying that she shouldnt have said it. How many times have you seen a man (republicans in congress) yell at and lose it on a witness, sales associate, etc. for simply doing their job? Nobody arrested them. In fact they are typically praised for " not taking crap". If a woman does it because insurance refuses to pay a life saving claim that she has paid expensive premiums into for years, she doesn't have a right to be angry? People go bankrupt over rhis stuff.
