Before time began, there was... the cube

Before anyone wastes their time cutting the wrong size pieces; they all have to be the exact length. You need 16 stacks, each with 70 staples (a hair under 1 and 3/8ths). I use a razor blade to cut them. Be warned, because of the fragility of the staple stack, it can be a challenge so take your time. 👍

the hardest part is to put the last stapel at the right position

I read most of the comments. Almost everyone wants to know what size staples to use, same question I had. (Note: a staple has a crown which is the top part, and 2 legs). Since the youtuber did not disclose measurements of his staples, I decided to use the old tried and true method of observation, and so, this is how to go about building your own cube: using the staples at hand do the first step he did: place two stacks with legs facing up, parallel to each other and separated by a distance slightly shorter than the crown. Use another stack facing down as to lock them up. Carefully stretch them out and measure what will be the width of each stack for your own project. Make sure the legs are shorter than the crown or it won't work. Mine came to 1 3/8". I used standard staples with 1/2' crown and 1/4" legs and came to a measurement of 1 3/8" for the length of each stack. Now, I don't have enough staples at hand, will have to buy some more. Once I build my cube I'll let you all know how it turned out. Have fun! 😊

Saw the short and I'm gonna try this

Update: Now trying at work gotta figure out how many staples are in a brick here

Update: Just finished! It's a bit lopsided since they aren't all the perfect size but it turned out pretty good!

Tried it! Last step was a tight squeeze, but when it fit perfectly into place, it was so satisfying ☺️

The last step is equivalent to GTA helicopter mission.

Saw a colleague of mine did it, i thought it was easy until i tried it myself. It took me about 2 hours because i used my teeth to bite them into equal sizes (I used the small staples😅), I tried to build it but still failed and on the 3 attempt i got it perfectly right. However throughout this process i learned that patients is key and not to give up is very important because the 3rd attempt was supposed to be my last but i made it #Moral of the story - Don't ever give up in life no matter How many times you try, there are people, Family depending on you keep on going who knows the last attempt might be the 1. Keep on going, stay safe to whoever reads this. You got this!💯✊🏿

Had to try it. Those measurements are exacting, that's for sure! One staple too long or short and it doesn't work. But get it right, and wow, is that satisfying!

The amount of staples you’ll need in each stack is 72 for anyone wondering

For those saying that the cube is unstable...before making the cube try to press the sides of the pins (but dont break it) and then try
