Investing in stocks has a potential higher return but require more research. ETF's are great for most people who do not have the time or do want to spend the time researching individual companies. Great video as always!

My best risk/reward strategy: 75% in ETF's, 25% Stocks.

ETF has a lot of advantages. I always recommend investing in ETF to anyone that's starting in this business. They help a lot with portfolio diversification and risk management, they're cheaper, and they help with tax

I have added a variety of stocks and ETF to my present holdings for the long term. I also have $300k aside to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flow. I strongly believe this is a good time to capitalize on the market for long term gains. But actualizing a short term profit would not be a bad idea for me at all.

Personally I get more value from videos like these than seeing you guys take looks at random stocks. Its goes into the old saying seeking the question for a answer will provide you greater knowledge than finding the answer to your question.

It's to say understanding somthing will take you further than knowing somthing, as knowing is narrow and often biased with singular perspective and understanding is the detail that gives it existence. Or as stated on this channel "The Process".

Keep up the great work. Hopefully soon I'll be able to become a patreon and get the software.

I started "investing" in April 2020, just took out my winnings and dumped it into an index fund.
I'm smart enough to know I don't know anything

I own a few etfs. I think they are essential to any portfolio especially if you’re new.

"Time in the market" only applies to ETFs, where you just have to sit tight through crashes. Timing is absolutely important for individual stocks..

Hello. I'm actually looking for a good trader that can help me trade and make good profit, I've been seeing so many recommendations but I don't think they're trusted. Please do you have any recommendations?

Most people just come on to YouTube to get info on the stocks to pick, without basic understanding on portfolio selection and risk tolerance. Also get the best from a financial advisor and work on your investing tolerance and with time you'd be a grand master.

Smaller, speculative stocks have endured a historically weak stretch. Investors are betting that a turnaround is finally in the works. I’ve lost about $320k within a few months, how do i take advantage of the market turnaround?

Paul said that your not different and that you cant time the market. 10 seconds later, Paul says he has the discipline to time the market :D haha

point made in 2:40 was the shortest and simplest but probably the best lesson for me, thanks!

One thing to keep in mind when buying ETF'S for a value play is deciding when or at what price you're going to exit your position. It is much "easier" to value a single company rather than 30+ companies meshed together.

Hey guys great video.

Paul: you mentioned you can evidence past trading 2009 etc. Would you be able to do a video around your past performance and show how value investing benefits over time (not sure if this something you want to share or have access to but would be interesting to see)

Also watch this is 1.5% speed and Paul is majorly animated it's quite fun to watch/ hear

Hope your all well :)

I do the Ray dalio approach. I have 15 to 20 high conviction stocks but I acknowledge I need diversification. I have been buying a few broad index funds. I also like thematic indexes like Asian technology tigers. I think it's important to buy high conviction stocks as when they fall you don't panic
