Not quite for the first time. The G300 Professional and G280 Pur were available in Europe from about 2011-2013.

G wagen with old diesel engines i.e. om617, om602 and om606 is badass, quite reliable machine. The downside is that the engine parts are rare and expensive here in Asia and I guess in Australia as well. After it goes with commonrail diesel, it turns out into disaster.

Could have a done a better review by doing a comparison with the "luxury" versions. Some footage of the cars interior and changes would have been nice, as externally they are very similar. Missed opportunity here I reckon.

Concerning the sat nav and Bluetooth, you can add all of that. This car is barebones because it's supposed to be utilitarian, but it's still better made than a lot of other utilitarian vehicles

So why bother? A landcruiser is a lot less and better offroad !!! I have a g wagon and yes it has diff locks and all but I dont think it is made for offroading. I think it is crappy for anything other than the city.
