This is the digital delay that converted me.
Launched in 2020, Walrus Audio's Mako Series D1 has five delay modes and lets you stomp-switch between any three of nine onboard user presets. Buckle up for all 90 sprawling seconds (approx) of this epic adventure to discover the secret of its unique musicality.
Mine is the original D1 - I believe they've tweaked the reverse delay algorithm for the new version. Not too much, hopefully, because it was brilliant already.
Incidentally, if you're bothered by the erratic flashing of the tempo LED, that's just because it's out of sync with the camera's shutter speed. It gets on much better with humans.
