I saw a tiktok of someone making an accessible gift opening experience by putting a ribbon under the wrapping paper and using very little tape! It's like a pull tab! Maybe you can do that for your grandparents next year!

My family has always thought I'm weird when it comes to wrapping gifts. I'll sit myself on the floor and try to get everything as neat as possible, and I'll even use my feet to hold the paper down and straight while taping 😂 then add ribbons and spend ages making it look so fab, perfectly curling the ribbon ends.
Then they all feel guilty 'ruining' them by opening to them 😅

honestly it’s been hard for me to have a good Christmas/feel the Christmas spirit these last few years. my fiancé’s mom was super big into Christmas and we lost her October 2020. we miss her so much. last year, for the first time, I decided to practice some self care and not go back to my hometown for Christmas. out of the blue on Christmas day, my mostly estranged dad who had been ill video called me with his wife and we talked for a whole hour. he passed away earlier this year in the spring. all that to say, this video brought me such a warm fuzzy feeling of peace around the subject of Christmas that I haven’t felt in a long time. thank you Pixie 🩷

My family doesn't really do presents other than little things like jam or tea or chocolate. I'm making everyone a stamped card with two shrimp wiggling their little antennae at each other that says "shrimply having a wonderful Christmastime"
I have so many letter stamps, and then the shrimp are drawn with string that I glued onto cardboard which hopefully makes a good stamp!!
