My mom taught me how to wrap gifts in the 80s. It’s something you never forget. She always folded the ends, then put tape on them.

My very first official job was to wrap Christmas presents for customers. It was a high end store in the town I grew up in. I loved that job.

I wrapped gifts in a toy shop for 2 months around Christmas (so I wrapped a LOT of things), and I noticed that the shop's paper is a little bit thicker than the ones we buy, so it behaves better when you fold it. Makes it easier to go fast :)

My brother's dad was like this. Man could burn water but somehow he could wrap a present in seconds... with STRIPES! PERFECTLY ALIGNED!!! Drove my mom nuts!
