Maybe get your dad something he can use in the kitchen like spices or since you like to cook/ bake you can make a special spice/ rub and just get a nice glass jar to put it in

A trick to getting someone tho says "idk" a gift is ask them "what do you think I got you?" usually they'll either be serious and get excisted and say something they actually want or they'll jokinly say something dumb. 50/50 shot
