Lindsay-- the Age of Majority to assume the throne without a regent is 18 (in the UK; I don't know about other countries), not 21 as you said in the video. Queen Victoria was just barely age 18 when her uncle died and she assumed the throne. She did not need a regent. Otherwise, great video! 😊👍

When Margrete I adopted Erik, he was not a total Strange as he was - as far as I remember - the grandson of Margrethe's sister. So, he was blood family, all she did was to decide which of a no of potential heirs should inherit.
