Apparently at official dinners, when the British monarch finishes a course everyone else is expected to cease eating as well, whether or not they have finished, as plates are to be cleared in order for the next course to be served. I also read somewhere that Her Majesty when on foreign visits, does not like the colours of mauve or purple in her accomodation, so areas need to be furnished accordingly...

You know in walks of life there are rules. We have them so we learn respect for others and also for ourselves. So we understand boundaries when we are out in public and when alone that we don't act unruly. I'm sure if the Royals, Politicians, Presidents all dressed and acted like you see Harry and Meghan I'm sure you would all complain about that too.
