I always thought Dana looked way older. As a kid there’s a huge difference between 12 and 15/16. As an adult the difference between 30-33 is nothing because we’re already done growing and by that time in life it’s hard to notice a three year age gap.

imo two years is kind of a large gap when you’re young. that’s the difference between being 9 and 11, and in my experience 9 year olds and 11 year olds act waaaayyyy different. still doesn’t mean she should’ve been fired though

She was actually fired because the actor Nicole she bullied Nicole really bad offset but so did a bunch of them. She came out and talked about it !

I’ve once met a 15yr old that looks older than I do in my late 30s. I only found out she was 15 because she was hanging out with the adults and I offered her coffee. (She wasn’t in to coffee yet) The more we chatted, the more I realized her age. I also have a close cousin (born on the same day as me) whom started her period at 8yrs old as I didn’t start until I was 16yrs old. Some young
womens bodies develop a little faster than others. (That’s normal) Why treat a child differently from other kids their own age just because they look a little older. 😕 Children develop into adulthood differently.

From what I understand from stuff Jeanette McCurdy said, Kristin Herrera started to develop and so they decided she looked too old. It's why McCurdy developed an eating disorder - she was trying to delay a growth spurt by being malnourished.

Her incidents with Alexa Nikolas probably didn't help either, so between the drama on set and the studio being weird about their actors it was easier just to swap her out
