I've seen many complaints of plugging the Blue Yeti mic only to have no playback sound. This walks you through the fix. This can happen everytime you unplug the mic. If this video fails you, try another cable!

I freaked out a little bit just having spent a bunch of money on this mic today to only go playback a test and have no sound come out - your video helped me figure it out on my iMac- it was the output source of course - thanks!

Your fix worked! In a Zoom session, when I plugged in my Yeti X microphone, others would hear when I played an MP3 file but I could not hear it on my laptop. When I went into Windows and deselected the Yeti mic as a Default speaker as you describe, the Zoom audio started working properly. Thanks, again!

Thank you!!! I knew it was easy but didn’t know how! I’m on windows 10. Logitech told me to buy a speaker! 😂 ive spent so much money on random accessories when I should’ve watched your video first. All these other youtubers never said anything about this. This is the best video THANK YOU!

Hi
I bought Blue yeti pro 2 years back, I just checked whether it was working and didn't used it after for a longtime for some reasons
But once I took it out for using it from now, it made me upset
It gets connected with the powerbank but not with my phone
Thinking it might be the pblm of the OTG, I checked it with the powerbank.
It responds with the led light but I couldn't hear anything through my earphones

Note: While opening its box after a long time as I said before, I could see some ants around it,
Is that a pblm

Also if you hold down the button on the back it mutes and unmutes the monitoring of the mic. FYI!

I was ready to throw the mic away! It was embarrassing and frustrating because everyone could hear but me unless I wore a crazy looking headset. Thanks for the save!

I have my microphone plugged into my PC, then my headset plugged into the mic. I can hear discord but my game volume plays through my monitors speakers. Do you have a fix for this?

Thanks. You pointed me in the right direction. However when you say "right click this thing" I couldn't see what that thing was. But like I say, it pointed me to open up sound in my control panel and it had the output there set to yeti. So I changed it back to real tech and it did the truck. So thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
