I just had the test done today and I felt like the swab touched my soul. It went deep. I had tears roll down my eyes lol

I took the test today. I just rested like she did. And the moment nurse held that swab, I closed my eyes and chanted Om with every breath, in mind. Held my breath when swab touched my nostril. And focused only on Om in my mind as much as I can. It was over in seconds and just a little bit of irritation for sometime on the wall where it touched. Which was gone soon. It is less uncomfortable than an injection was for you in childhood. If you want to scale it.

I just hope you read this comment in this bunch of over-exaggerated comments.

Update even though no one asked: it’s not the most painful thing even but since it’s a new pain, it was rather uncomfortable. Obviously worth it though. Oh and test was negative.

I was terrified seeing all these im just here to tell u just 14 y/o and it doesn't even hurt it all....u will feel uncomfortable but how deep it goes doesn't feel at here to comfort u guys....Thanks

I did the test and I must say, some of these comments are so over-exaggerated, it's slightly painful and only lasts for a few seconds, you just gotta relax, sometimes being scared makes stuff a whole lot worse than it already is

For everyone who is freaking out, don’t be. It’s not even that horrible. It’s not really painful but it does sting a bit, and sneeze a lot after. It’s like when you get water up your nose at the pool. And it’s over quickly too. Don’t let these comments freak you out.

I got a swab test last month, when the nurse starts swirling the swab, it tickles some parts of my nose that I suddenly sneezed during the test. that was hilarious 😂😂😂

i just got the test done today and it is nothing like what these negative comments say. the nasal swab does not hurt, it can be pretty intimidating at first but once it goes into your nose it just feels like a feather up your nostrils. it is more ticklish than anything. these comments are to freak people out, bet half of them never even had the test. i didn't get a nose bleed like the comments say, if you do it most likely wasn't done right. the only thing i got was watery eyes, which is no big deal. to anyone worried about getting the test, i was in the same boat as you and got myself all worked up for nothing. everything will be fine <3

Other than using an enormous swab compared to the one we use, this is by far the best instruction video and I used it to train some nurses. Thank you!

As for all the people complaining or joking about it... come on! I've had nurses test on me for practice like 100 times by now, it's completely painless, tickles and annoys a bit, but its over in seconds.

I just did a nose swab. I was so scared but I was DYING of laughter after it was done because if how easy it was. no pain whatsoever. you just tear up and your inside tickles.

I’d rather get a shot ! Got mine done this morning and that crap HURTS . Mine got stuck for a few seconds 🥴 the worst part is my doctor did both nostrils . Left me with a headache . People are lying if they say it’s not bad

To the people that are scared, it does not hurt. For people that bleed from the nose frequently, have nose surgeries and stuff like that you may bleed but it does not hurt, it feels a bit uncomfortable and forces you to sneeze or cough but it does not hurt.
