I'm Catholic, and I think that audience hall should be torn down, and that disturbing sculpture melted down. Satanic or not, that's the ugliest piece of architecture in the whole Vatican, and so much blasphemy occurred in that hall.

The “fish-eye camera lens” rebuke is one I’ve heard before, but it’s not true. The building is literally shaped like a snake head, and you can see this from outside aerial images. It even has windows on top that give the effect of scales. You can see them from the inside pictures you’ve shown. They’ve since added solar panels, but they maintain the scale look from the outside and are raised to allow that light on the inside.

Edit: Also, literally every picture taken from the back of the hall looks like a snake with fangs. You showed an entirely different angle for your rebuke, from one side to the other.
