This was very helpful.
I am reluctant to hit wedges at less than full swing, because I know how far they fly and how they react once they hit the green.
46 degree PW flies 120 yards, 50 degree GW 100 yards, and 56 degree SW goes about 70 yards. Get me in half club ranges and I struggle with distance.
I'm going to give this tip a whirl this afternoon at the range. Sounds simple enough, but, of course, it never really occurred to me to try this technique.

Title was a misnomer. I expected a video about full shots with short irons, which I have trouble with, but this is really a video about pitch shots.

The comments from Ramses monroy kind of puzzle me. He said too much talking not enough ball hitting. The explanation of how, when, where, and why is the whole point of why our short game can improve if he explains first. As stated video 8-21 mins long. Maybe he should just come on and hit a dozen balls and ask us what we think he’s trying to say. Does that work for you. Lesson over then, 😶

No commentary on how the lower body on the downswing really controls the flight, distance, and accuracy... to much emphasis on arms and swing length, imho
