Zhiyun Crane 2 servo follow focus for GH5 (or NONE Canon camera)

Got the 1.7.13 beta firmware from a youtuber. The follow focus on Crane 2 works now, but the follow focus on the remoter still does not work, may wait for a newer firmware although the 1.7.13 is not released yet... Only Joystick works on the remote.

Can the motors be reversed so you can turn it around and pull focus with your right hand like any other focus system?

ok, But you cannoct connect SERVO FOLLOW FOCUS to your GH5 because the zhiyun cable in short and i cannot start or stop the REC with gimbal but only to press the bottom on my GH5

Hi! Can you provide a download link for the firmware link for the servo and for the Crane 2? I’ve searched everywhere on the Zhiyun website and it’s just not there! I’ve messaged Zhiyun and had no reply. Can’t get the servo working at all on the GH5. You’re the first person I’ve found whose got this working. 😳

Is there a way to use the follow focus while shooting with the dual handle? Or do you need a second person to pull focus?

Hi! Ive got few questions... 1) Did you attach the new remote/focus control to the dual handle? If yes... how it works? Is easy to use the focus wheel with the thumb when you are shooting? 2) Why are you still using the old remote control on dual handle? Have any utility that the new one doesn't? Thanks.

The USB cable for Panasonic is to short from the Servo to the camera. Why is nobody talking about this? I use a GH5.

Is it possible to mount this on the stabilizer handles somewhere and be able to adjust focus run/gun style? Do you think you could twist the circle enough with one of your fingers? Thanks!

Hi It looks like you haven't made the connection between the GH5 remote socket and the Servo follow focus yet. I was wondering if you had the same problem as I am having....I cannot use the GH5 remote start/stop because the cable (that usually connects the tilt axis to the GH5) provided with the Crane 2 now has to be plugged into the servo follow focus body- and
is not long enough...won't reach!!

+++SOLUTION for Foucs remote controller: this focus remote now works very well! But only if you have updated the firmware of your crane and then go to the crane's menu --> choose "wheel" --> choose "priority" and then choose "external" or "off". Just tested it out and it works really well.

+++NEW: There now also is a "gravity"- feature that lets you tilt and pan the crane not only by moving the joystick but also by raising and turning the remote itself just like you move a nintendo wii remote. To do this: Choose the Menu button ON THE REMOTE --> scroll down and choose "gmode" and then choose "Speed". Then get back to the main view. If you now HOLD the G-Mode-button on the bottom left WHILE moving the remote, the crane will do the same movements! Which axis you can control with that, depends on the MODE the crane is in. In L-Mode it can pan and tilt, PF-Mode only allows tilting and F-Mode just allows rolling. Switching between the modes is done by clicking "Mode" once, doubleclicking it or even to reach the new POV-Mode.

hello bro i see many coments about the short is the cable from he camera to the servo follow (gh5 version of course)..i see in other reviews 2 conections cables one the from the FOLLOW to the crane and other from the FOLLOW to the camera.. but in your video only see the cable servo follow to crane.. its the other cable necesary too? sorry mi english XD

instead of creating mechanical follow focus why can't u update the firmware to support other cameras? part of sale or u can't just update it? are ur developers not that good?
