--------
Former DEA agent Hector Berrellez discussed the motivations and actions of drug lords Rafael Quintero and El Chapo, shedding light on their roles within the Sinaloa cartel. Contrary to popular belief, Berrellez revealed that El Chapo was not the ultimate boss of the cartel, but rather worked under Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada. He also stated that El Chapo was known for his violence, acting as an executioner for another cartel member, Pacho Herrera. Berrellez further claimed that El Chapo was involved in the kidnapping, torture, and burial of DEA agent "Kiki" Camarena, and criticized the fact that El Chapo was not charged with murder when he was eventually captured. Berrellez expressed frustration with the CIA's role in drug trafficking and the negative consequences it had on communities affected by crack cocaine. He also discussed the dangers he has faced for speaking out against corruption in the Mexican government and his own government's potential plans to hand him over to Mexican authorities.

El Chapo was a scapegoat: "Let that dummy be the face of the cartel, let the idiot enjoy the fame, they'll focus on him & take their eyes off me."

El Chapo's family controls one faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. He's not the overall boss but he's not just middle-management either. He's one of the few heads. The biggest head was always El Mayo.

This interview is absolutely amazing! This guy is telling the truth because a common tactic to shut up whistleblowers is to discredit, deny, imprison them under false charges, and if all that fails - kill them. I've watched older interviews of this guy since these video clips started airing. He's been telling all this for quite some time. The reason he's still alive is because he never reached a large audience. Unfortunately, that may change after this interview. Stay safe Hector.

The American media needs to pin point a villain. In this case, El Chapo holds that title. It gives a false sense of security to the people if the main villain is caught. But in reality they probably have a deal with the main boss. Money and profit from both parties is a win win.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about the history of the Sinaloa cartel should read the book, The Traitor - the secret diary of El Mayo's Son by Anabel Hernadez. This lady has been doing some of the best investigative work on this topic for years.

I've been hearing this being said about El Chapo for some time now from different people and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.

This is exactly what El Mayo's son said about El Chapo who happens to be his "compadre", "el chapo worked for his father and eventually his dad (el mayo) made a deal with the US to get him off that life"
