In this clip, Hector Berrellez broke down how cartels are able to launder money. He claimed that the criminal organizations use dispensaries and shell corporations before stating that banks are also complicit in the illegal activity. Hector also explained why the youth are drawn to cartels and detailed the cartels' military weaponry. Later in the clip, Hector talked about Mexican police releasing El Chapo's son after the Sinaloa Cartel sent over 400 men to the precinct to threaten officers. It was actually an army base that was surrounded. The cartel threatened to kill all of the wives and kids of the soldiers that lived there if they didn’t let “el ratón” “the mouse” go. The military had him at that time and since a lot of family members of the soldiers live on those bases, that’s why the cartel knew to go directly there and overpower them. That and the kidnapping of many soldiers at military check points throughout the city made president Lopez Obrador decide it wasn’t worth all of the blood shed. Shootings and bombings were occurring throughout the city. It is said that hundreds of cartel members arrived to cause the chaos to rescue him. Some cartel members even broke 50 people out of a nearby prison at that same time. El ratón was finally captured early 2023 after a huge battle that left 29 dead. 10 soldiers, and 19 cartel members. Ovidio is now in a prison in Chicago.

I remember all the Chapitos ever posted on social media were about their luxurious lifestyle… money, diamonds, Ferraris etc. than realized how stupid it was to stick out, they switched up real quick into pretending to be humble and were regular cloths… They knew it was a better strategy to blend in and use the common folk and do small favors for them instead off being hated for being spoiled and showing off! 😂

Lol I wish people would stop bringing up wages as the problem... Even if we're given a $500/hr minimum wage that wouldn't fix the problem. Investors and Businesses will just charge us $2000 for a gallon of gas. The wages aren't the problem, prices continue to rise to keep the wealthy wealthier. They rarely fall to balance the economy or help the workers. It's an uphill battle at this point.
