Hello Alson. Thank you for the video. Yes, the right size violin. I have been looking at your site since June. I am an adult 70-year man who plays other instruments and decided to try the violin. I borrowed from my wife's niece a 1/2 size Valencia and have been learning on it. Hopefully, in August I'll be able to buy a full-size, 4/4, violin to continue my journey. Your first 10 lessons really got me started and I look forward to purchasing the full course after I receive my new violin. Here in Costa Rica, the choices are Valencia, Cervini and Cremona for the beginner and Yamaha for a more expensive model. Thanks for the starting pointers and help so far. Your videos are very easy and fun to watch. (My wife and I are fans of Andre Rieu and his orchestra.)

Thanks for the video. I really want to ask this, the fingerboard on my violin has gone all the way to the down and the pegs have tightened (almost not moving).
So I tried to loose the pegs carefully and elevate the fingerboard by inserting a thick paper below it. It is much up now.
But still I don't have any idea why this happened. Can you perhaps tell me why this happened. And what should I do.
The fingerboard would go down if I removed the paper .
Is it because of humidity.
