Unless you're referring only to fully domestic chickens, then this is not the furthest a chicken can fly. There are wild chickens that can fly a lot further.

Well, we have a wild chicken here that can fly almost like a bird.they are lightweight compare to domesticated chicken.

Wild chicken could fly pretty far, i lost track of them many times when i was hunting them, well maybe because im a 4th grader at the time.

I have the first flying chicken vid on you tube. And my rooster flew further different times. Long dead now. It was a bantam.
