It's always funny to see this red bull event (not even sure how it's called) as a Dutch. We hsd this kind of event back in the 80's / 90's, it was called ter land ter zee en in de lucht.

I think it got disqualified because the there needs to be a person on the glider at all times. The guy fell immediately after the glider launched. Could be wrong tho.

What airplane was a very smart design, with a low aspect ratio and polyhedral for stability. This is one of the few red bull planes I approve of.
