Awesome! About damn time too. It's been 50 years since Apollo 17 launched. Good to see NASA getting back to being "NASA".

Great job to everyone involved! It took a while but as they say, all good things are worth the wait.

Now you know NASA does not have tech beyond rocket tech

Even 20 years of delay is worth it for the rocket to launch successfully

We already did this in the late 60's ...and everyone is astounded about it today 60 years later?

Did anyone even hear this? I live close to the launch site and didn’t even hear the sonic boom. Did anyone here actually see or hear it? None of my neighbors heard it either

Why did some kid pinch a balloon and slowly let the air out at around 83 miles away from earth? It was pretty annoying and at first I thought it was the sound of the rocket blowing.

Nice thing about being an astronaut is being congratulated when you know you’ll be taking a #2 upside down in space -that’s why I hate my job at the international space station...

I wish I could feel any kind of emotional attachment to this, but I can't anymore.

Can we just have the video and audio from Mission Control? We don’t need the “Oh my God”; “Awesome”; “To the moon and beyond “ comments. I don’t understand if the commentators are educated adults dumbing down their language so 8 year olds can understand or are they actually 8 years old.
