NVIDIA has seemingly pulled the RTX 2080 Ti from its online shop because of cards dying. Is a possible recall imminent as a result?

This has to be the worst product launch in the PC industry for years.

I wouldn't buy this generation of cards even if they were released at decent prices. If many cards are failing now, how many will fail in a year or so?

I hate that I've become bitter enough to want Nvidia to lose a load of money over this. As disappointed as I was with Fiji and Vega, and even Polaris, I'm tired of either being drip fed mediocrity (Intel) or being asked to pay gross amounts of money for a product (Nvidia). I'm kinda bitter about PC gaming in general. Zen has been the only real saving grace of the last four years. Mass storage with SSD's is still not economical, RAM prices are hyper elevated, custom water cooling is still hard to get into, motherboard manufacturers still can't get their BIOS' right, AMD's graphics department has disappointed over and over, Intel keeps refreshing the same basic thing, PC ports are hit and miss (three of the year's best games are not even available on PC), and micro-transactions are becoming too intrusive. A few good things have been: Case manufacturers finally getting their act together, AIO's no longer having absurdly loud pumps and fans, m.2 storage being super handy (especially NVMe), Pascal being pretty sweet (but still too expensive), motherboards are now black and... black (genius!), graphics cards are not limited to two fans, and things like custom cables and vinyl work are accessible. Sorry for the rant; just venting. Thanks for the video, mate.

Delisting means they lied about low rma numbers.

Ijs skip the 2000 series. My GTX 1080 is still going strong and never set a small fire. I heard Vega cards are also getting cheaper. My friend has one and he loves it. Let's vote with our wallets.

I’m a PC gamer but this is just so typical. This industry can never just stay positive.

PC gaming has grown lately thanks to YouTube and Twitch and really all that’s needed is to keep things going the way they were.

But nope, that would be too easy. Let’s start selling expensive cards with RTX gimmicks and lets have them die and/or explode on people as well.

Don’t even get me started about AMD either. Their lack of, well, almost anything has allowed Nvidia to be so reckless.

Why have they not made a public announcement and tried to keep this quiet. What a complete fucking joke

Sorry joker but this is poor journalism. Even wccftech(rumor mill central) decided to look into this and the card is simply out of stock. This on top of your single 2070 dying card video is just poor. I know people will say "he is just letting people know this could be an issue". No this is just clickbait. I've been a subscriber for long a time but channels like gamers nexus actually go out and look into this and ask the manufacturers who have even said their failure rate is no higher than normal and also confirming that the bsods are driver related and have been fixed in latest drivers. I am no fanboy of either the red or green team and purchase cards from both companies so I'm not typing this to defend Nvidia but rather to just say do your research first. Edit: the website(eteknix( that started this bs has stated what they originally posted was false information

Am happy to say that i have no problems with my 2080ti so far, but that being said some people here(the Netherlands) are still waiting for there pre-orderd ones, so since 30 days have passed and people stil dont have there cards, NVIDIA is now forced by law to compensate some % based on the total value of the product, so that could be discount, or some games.
