If you can still sing a song like this so perfectly 50 years after you released it, you are a special person and this was a special concert.

I'm a 68 year old woman from Texas who’s listened to music all my life. The fact that you guys love this so much restores my faith in your generation.

I was a hippie when Procol Harum first released this song in 1967. This concert was 39 years later, 2006! Gary Brooker's voice brought tears to my tears & does every time I watch this. He still had "IT". He died Feb. of 2022. RIP Gary.

I'm a 69 year old American man living in Iowa. I have listened to this song for 50 years. It still engages me and continues to offer new and fresh images. It's part stream of consciousness, part beat poetry, part Acid Trip, and part Hymn. Amen and Bravo.

HE SADLY Passed away since then! He was ILL with Cancer when he performed this and yet the man was PHENOMENAL! THE OLD 60S BRITISH Rock, Blues bands don't get enough CREDIT, (BECAUSE), THEY basically created and helped to create modern music.. close your eyes and tell me this doesn't sound like Ray Charles! They obviously all drew from Eachother, but as far as this more modern sound with more classical arrangements, that's something else! It's like when Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker aka "Cream" got together! There were fireworks!! It was something no one had heard before and haven't since.. phenomenal sound, virtuosity from ALL THREE! AND Just genius song writing, performing and the feeling they emoted with the sound they produced! IMMENSE!! ANYONE who either wanted to try to recreate it failed and anyone who tried to replace one of the 3, failed! Regardless of how good the musicians were! You HAVE to cover a special like a 12 hour job of the 2005 Cream reunion concert With Clapton, Bruice and Baker!! (Before Jack Bruce died) he was STILL phenomenal! Fretless bass guitar and vocals.. and Ginger Baker on the track "Toad" given how old, chain smoking and not well he was, THE GREATEST DRUM SOLO YOU will EVER SEE!! 😎💪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

I was 13 when this song dropped. At 66 it’s still one of my favourite songs of all time. ❤🇨🇦

Can you believe this song is over 55 years old? I love the effect it had on you. As a group, you're young, vivacious, and full of energy, yet the song brought out the stillness in you all. Music is a universal language and it's incredible to see this song still effects people, young people in the same way it did over half of a century ago. Bravo, boys.

The most amazing thing about this performance is that his voice is exactly the same as when the song was first released in 1967! Who ever heard of an old man's singing voice being as good as it was when he was a young man?

Gentlemen I must thank you for the most eloquent and heartfelt reaction to an all time favorite song. Gary singing Whiter Shade of Pale gave me chills at 10 years old in 1967 when I first heard it and every time since. Thanks guys for enjoying this with me.

Some people are just born with music and soul inside of them. Gary Booker was one of those people. He was amazing, and he poured every ounce of himself into this song. RIP, Mr. Booker

This song was released when my mother was in junior high school. As a kid, she told me how beautiful she thought it was. I am now 45 yrs old. This song is ageless and timeless. Here we are enjoying it in 2023. My mother is now almost 70. Art never gets old. ❤
