Ryan has refined the concept of a short like no other creator.

Some people say bad breath is a war crime.

Adding rat poison to artillery shells is like adding ghost peppers inside a batch of napalm... You can guess how effective that would be.

That's probably the quickest "Nope here's why" so far

People who believe this apparently don’t know how deadly artillery shells already are

Just imagine you are a Russian soldier and you get shelled with breath mints. They would be "Well now that is just insulting."

I like how one missed your mouth and fell to the floor but you kept the take. I would have been bothered enough to redo the whole thing, so I actually respect it lol

heat from an artillery shell exploding would neutralize any poison I would imagine

How people actually thought this would work? Shell filled with rat poision exploads and it casually flies to the mouths of russian soldiers

Which now begs the question why someone would want to mintify the enemy?

Never seen mints like that other countries packaging is wild

Now my experience with rat poison in humans comes exclusively from the hit man games but it seems to me that artillery shell is not an optimum method of delivery

Imagine the commercials for this.

"With our new and improved formula it'll blast bad breath like this artillery shell. Papermint: Explosively Fresh!"

As a pest control operator I can tell you, the vast majority of such rodenticides are anticoagulant based, and dosed to kill a rodent. In other words, even if it was rat poison, it wouldn't hurt you anyway. I love how people act like they're this crazy scary nerve agent or whatever. No. It's blood thinner, dosed enough to cause a rodent weighing a few ounces to die. I've seen some nutty pest control technicians just eat a packet of the stuff. Didn't harm them. Easily attainable data, it's all public.
Also. You have to EAT it. Lol. So obviously the idea of loading it into artillery is asinine.

Disclaimer: Do not eat rodenticide or any pesticide. This should obviously go without saying. If you do this you are an idiot regardless of what you read in a YouTube comment.

They do look like the scaled down version of those spheres in the old Nick Cage flick, "The Rock".
