Her representation of the movie character in Heretic was attractive as hell.
Weird part is that I can find her that attractive here or other photos on the internet.

"Heretic" was a profoundly moving experience, a film that resonated deeply with my own beliefs about faith and the dangers of its perversion. While it was a deeply unsettling portrayal of religious control, it also captured the essence of what I've always believed: that true faith is, at its core, a personal relationship with God.

The film masterfully illustrated the stark contrast between institutionalized religion, twisted into a tool of manipulation, and the quiet, individual faith that can exist even within the most oppressive systems. It showed how dogma and rigid ideology, enforced by those claiming to speak for God, can crush the human spirit and sever that very personal connection with the divine. It highlighted the point that when religion becomes about power and control, it loses sight of its spiritual foundation.

What I found particularly powerful was how "Heretic" emphasized that a genuine relationship with God doesn't require intermediaries or rigid adherence to a prescribed set of rules. The most moving moments in the film were those glimpses into the character's internal struggles, their yearning for a spiritual connection that transcended the suffocating dogma imposed upon them. It showed that this personal faith can be a source of strength and resistance, even in the face of overwhelming pressure to conform. For someone like me, who has long held the belief that faith is a deeply personal journey, these scenes were incredibly resonant.

And then, there was the music. The use of Radiohead's "Creep" was nothing short of inspiring. It's a song that has always spoken to me on a profound level, a raw expression of alienation and longing for belonging. In the context of "Heretic, " the lyrics took on a whole new layer of meaning. The line "I don't belong here" became a powerful anthem for those trapped within the film's oppressive religious system, yearning for a spiritual connection that was free from judgment and control. It underscored the inherent human need for acceptance and belonging, and how that need can be exploited by those in power. It is the desperate need of the "heretic" to be accepted by a loving God, not judged by the cold institution of religion.

The inclusion of "Creep, " a song so deeply personal to me and a favorite for so long, amplified the film's emotional impact. It was as if the filmmakers had reached into my own soul and pulled out a song that perfectly captured the yearning for a genuine, unmediated connection with the divine – a connection that "Heretic" ultimately affirmed as the true essence of faith. It felt like a validation of my long-held belief in the film, that I wasn't alone. That it was okay to feel this way. That my relationship with God was just that, mine.

"Heretic, " for me, was more than just a film; it was a profound affirmation of my own spiritual journey. It was a stark reminder that while organized religion can be a source of comfort and community for many, it can also be a tool of control when wielded by those who prioritize power over genuine spiritual connection. Ultimately, "Heretic" championed the idea that faith is a deeply personal relationship with God, a relationship that can thrive even in the face of adversity, a relationship that is unique and sacred to each individual. It's a film I won't soon forget, one that has strengthened my own conviction that true faith liberates, not controls.

In the theater, I thought it was going to be a cover of Fade Into You, but instead it was Knocking on Heaven's door.
