As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, LinkedIn offers a feature called "Private Mode" or "Anonymous LinkedIn Member" for viewing profiles while keeping your identity hidden. However, it's important to note that when you enable this feature, you also won't be able to see who viewed your own profile. Here's how to enable private mode on LinkedIn:

1. **Log In to LinkedIn**: Open your web browser and go to the LinkedIn website. Log in to your LinkedIn account if you're not already logged in.

2. **Access Your Profile**: Click on your profile picture or your name at the top of the LinkedIn homepage to access your profile.

3. **Navigate to "Settings & Privacy"**: Click on the "Me" icon in the top right corner of the LinkedIn homepage. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings & Privacy."

4. **Privacy Tab**: In the "Settings & Privacy" section, navigate to the "Privacy" tab on the left-hand side.

5. **Profile Viewing Options**: Look for the "How others see your profile and network information" section. Under "Profile viewing options," click "Change" next to "Profile viewing options."

6. **Choose Private Mode (Anonymous LinkedIn Member)**: In the pop-up window that appears, you'll have several options for how your profile is viewed. Select "Private Mode" or "Anonymous LinkedIn Member" to hide your identity when viewing other profiles.

7. **Save Changes**: Click "Save" or "Save changes" to confirm your selection.

Once you've enabled private mode, LinkedIn will hide your identity when you view other people's profiles, and you will appear as an "Anonymous LinkedIn Member."

Please note that LinkedIn's features and interface may have changed since my last update in September 2021. If you encounter any difficulties or if the process has been updated, I recommend checking LinkedIn's official help resources or the LinkedIn website for the most current information on privacy settings.
