Now this was my Dad's favorite type of movie! Mr Van himself later portraying a ninja master himself in the 80s in the TV series THE MASTER that my Dad was a lover too, I didn't think I'd seen this until the moving church that sparks a memory! But still I'm gonna see it before the weekend is out. Rob you are indeed magnificent to remind us all of these brilliant movies!

Just finished watching, that's why I remember the mobile church it was a bit of a tardis I enjoyed.
Reminded me of watching series of westerns with my Dad on BBC2 in the 80s.
Thanks Rob.

Interesting. Lee Van Cleef was a boyhood favorite of mine; however, I never knew he had done comedy.

Another great LVC SW is Day of Anger. Arrow Video released the full version in English few years ago.

I love those cheesy "wasp in a bottle " fuzz guitar sounds

Well this one sounds like so much wacky fun. I always liked Van Cleef in the few things I saw him in. A solid actor. In a hybrid Western/Kung Fu/ comedy? Count me in! Will defs track it down. Thank you kind sir for the enlightenment.

I watched this film because of this post and I was glad I did. Top presentation on this - I really liked this vid, funny, interesting, really good - really good.
I watched Vigilante last week - never seen it before, I liked it. In the vain of Death Wish and The Exterminator, but with a slightly different vibe. I really like Robert Forster, The Black Hole, Alligator and it has Fred Williamson in very straight role and a brief part for Woody Strode and boy is he cool in this. Not full of nastyness but quite strong when it happens - it is right here on YT.
Yet again top work, really enjoyed it.
I added an intro to my front page - if you wanted to know what my lovely London accent sounded like, check out the cheese.

Well that trailer certainly doesn't say; "Comedy". But it does look quite enjoyable just the same. Anthony Margheriti (aka Anthony Dawson) also directed a number of Peplum (Sword & Sandal) movies AND one of my favorite Italian Sci-fi films... Battle of the Worlds! Starring the always amazing Sir Claude Raines. Lee Van Cleef was also awesome in Kansas City Confidential. Just sayin' the man done a lot of terrific movies. I haven't seen this one but it does look mucho fantastico. I'll send you a mustachioed dollar if you can (without IMBd or Wackapedia telling you) tell me who did the voiceover on that trailer. Times a ticken' Sterling!

I’m a big fan of Loh Lieh and his portrayal of Pei Mei in multiple movies. In fact he’s my favourite martial arts bad guy character. The White Lotus movie is a basically a remake of Executioners from Shaolin. His internal chi power is so strong that he can sort of glide away from contact. Tarantino intended for him to have the role again in Kill Bill but he died before filming started. Your task, listen to the first 10 seconds of the Ironside theme song from Quincey Jones and try and remember how many martial arts films have used those seconds.

It sounded like the movie voice was Lurch, Richard Kiel?

I haven't seen this one. So, is there actual nudity involved as they find the four "treasure maps" on the girls?
