Debunking Anti-Catholic Nonsense

Many Protestant Christians have misconceptions of the Catholic Church or what Catholics actually believe in, especially regarding the papacy, the Eucharist, and intercession of the saints, such as praying to Mary. In this video I respond to a Protestant objection to the Catholicism.

Thank you for being a voice against the many lies that are used to attack Christians.. and as a Roman Catholic I have seen this just as much from other denominations of Christianity as I have seen it from atheist or other religions..

As a Protestant myself, it gets really annoying when so many other Protestants online don’t understand other denomination’s beliefs and just attack them. We have so many similarities our beliefs. We should be focusing on getting along and spreading the word as true followers of Christ.

On the other hand, it’s time we all did our part to clarify what the church teaches, what the true interpretation of scripture is and explain to everyone how Jesus started the Catholic Church. As a Catholic Christian, I never understood why they say we think Mary is God...we don't. I can't even argue because I just know that we don't do that so I'm just baffled by those "arguments" against Catholics which had to twist what we actually believe in to dispute Catholic Church.

Protestants purposefully misunderstanding Catholicism gets so annoying. There is zero way a human in the modern world can be so ignorant without intending to. I don't get why they say blantantly wrong things about Catholic theology, you're free to disagree but you don't need to make stuff up to debate theology.

Well said. I pray for this man to see what is really going on in the church and that we don’t pray to the Virgin Mary or saint and even angels, but rather we pray together. We said I never thought of it like intercession is like praying in a group of together.
