Purchased these after my much more expensive Klipsch blew after a mere two years. These sounded so good, I bought two more pairs -- one for daughter's dorm room (her laptop) and another for my workstation at home!

I'm getting these. But don't like tiny volume knobs so I'm going to try to find a thick rubber washer to push over the knob to make it easier to grip. If it works out well, I'll GLUE it on! It'll hide the little light, but that might actually be kind of nice.

I just bought a new desktop, and needed speakers so I bought these. These arrived before my Desktop so I decided to try them out on my Laptop. And I was having some issues at first as the right speaker had a ton of static, I even tried them out on my phone (plugged the USB into my PS4 Pro) and it was the same thing. Then when I decided to switch BACK over to my Laptop, I decided to just turn the damn things up all the way playing a music video on YT and it seemed to fix static oddly enough.

However, I've been hearing audio through cheap laptop speakers for so long (I've had this laptop for 7 years!) that these almost don't sound right to me. They sound slightly muffled and I can't seem to get the volume to sound just right. Maybe it's something I'll adjust to, but other than how loud they get...I'm not overly impressed. They definitely feel like $20 speakers.

if you plug these into a usb fastcharger you will get much better sound depending on the quality of the usb wall adapter.

UPDATE: THEY ARE COMPATIBLE W/MOST ANY LAPTOP TODAY & THEY ARE WORTH A CLOSER LOOK & ARE VERY RELIABLE LAPTOP/DESKTOP COMPUTER SOUND & THE SUB WOOFER THAT COMES W/IT ALSO ENHANCES THE SOUND QUALITY. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG W/CREATIVE PEBBLE LAPTOP/DESKTOP COMPUTER SPEAKERS.
