Lost my wife of 33 years in January from cancer and when I heard this song tears started flowing. Such a wonderful song! Should touch everyone that has lost a loved one.

I never thought Patty loveless got the accolades she should get as a country singer as a incredible singer I used to think in the '80s that Trisha yearwood I think she just got more publicity but growing up by realized the compassion the passion Patty loveless had in her voice and her choice in songs whether she pick them or wrote them her duets with Vince Gill and Chris Stapleton and losing both parents in 14 months her upbringing her Kentucky sound I wish she would do a show now 2022 in New York anywhere in the state she could fill and would fill a stadium because her voice is still so strong because of her passion I love Patty loveless who always sat in the background humble as I listen to '80s and '90s country in my 69 VW going through college 1979 to 1983 thank you Patty

My Mom just passed from Covid; her funeral was two days ago. She helped me get through a lot of goodbyes. This goodbye, though...it's different. It feels like she's still here, so close, that I could reach out and hug her. It almost hurts worse because she is so close. But I feel her love everywhere. I hope that never goes away.

Great song. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a love one can relate to it. Face it, as we live our lives we will all lose people we love if we live long enough ourselves. This song has universal appeal for that reason. For sure the nineties were the golden age of modern country music. Miss Loveless is an underrated singer.

Patty Loveless, what a voice, what a talent. Today this song came on when I was in the car. Tears began pouring down my face.Tomorrow, November 1st is the 2nd anniversary of my mother's death, I sat with her for a whole week while she was dying and nothing could change what was happening, she never even opened her eyes again, I hoped so much for her to just get better.

Next week will be 10 years since I lost my mother and I normally avoid this song like the plague since it makes me cry like a baby, but I needed the cry.

My goodbye to my mom is coming we are on hospice. I played this for her multiple times over the years telling her it was the song that meant the most to me about her, she was my rock!

On this song her vocal is OUT there. There is no hiding it anywhere. No safety net. This shows how amazing her voice was (and still is). She killed it. Not many who could pull this off now days.

My Uncle was her sound engineer And he said he couldn't get over how it made him feel had a hard time getting through the session . My grandmother had just passed . And now my mother is gone and the song means a lot to Me Too. The tears start flowing. She's wonderful
