CarX is now in BIG trouble... (THIS IS NOT LEGAL!)

CarX has now been caught 4K 1080p 60fps stealing game assets. What they are doing is taking other people's 3d car models and using them in their games.

It's not branded, that's the problem, same reason why they can freely add cars copied from real life cars, so ye they're allowed to do that as long as they don't use his brand, they'll always do that and getaway with it

It would be so cool to get on good terms with Cyro since he could provide more bodykits, LITERALLY EVERYONE WOULD BENEFIT: CarX for basically free bodykits, Cyro for recognition, and US the players getting more customization. Win win situation

They were gonna try shaft him, When he replied saying only the F40 bodykit is included in said contract, they ceased contact to look for another avenue to try continuing using his assets.

Carx doesnt need to ask the creator, nor is it stealling the mod, because the mod was nvr copyrighted, if it was copyrighted i would see the issue but there is none

this is totally legal. they wont get in trouble for this. EVERY car that is based off of a real life car is made the exact same way. they dont have permission for use of the cars, what makes you think these bodykit creators have enough money to do something about this when Toyota cant even touch them?

Despite being early in my career, I’ve already noticed that many people are reluctant to pay fair value for work, often unaware of the effort involved. It’s demotivating to see that even when I produce high-quality work comparable to artists like Cyro, larger studios engage in practices like stealing.

they made their own model, not just took his model and added into the game. It's not ripping (you can say copy as well, LOL the dude made model 7years ago he also copied from someone)

I suggest that Cyro get a lawyer to read over the contract before signing ANYTHING as they could have hidden ways to rip him off. Keeping in mind I have no true knowledge of the law, just what I can put together from what I see and hear, however, this is probably the best thing for him to do.
