Spent half the day trying to do this on my own for tracking clicks on appointment booking button/link. Wish I saw this video earlier. But still very helpful. I'm thinking I'd like to track social media links on my site to see if anyone is using. The speed of the info was just perfect.

Thank you Julian for your excellent video. You are my go-to expert for Tag Manager & Google Analytics. I followed your advice and am now able to monitor button clicks. Much appreciated :)

Is it possible to track clicks for the same image which is located on different pages and have a report on which pages that image got most clicks?

Thank you for the information. You mentioned at 4:43 that there are known event parameters. How can I find the list of all the known parameters?

Thanks! This has been very helpful. My tag is firing successfully. However, it's still listed as "unknown tag type". Will that cause problems?

Hi Analytics Mania, I see your website has been down for quite a few days. I've tried to visit a few different pages with no luck.

I can't understand the difference between Google Tag (found in Google Ads) and Measurement ID (found in GA4). Could you record a video showing the difference and when to use one or the other, please?

wait something is wrong ... now I'm confused. What if I want to track it from Google ads & GA? I create google ads tag to track who clicked "Link Button" from Google ads. Then I create GA4 tag to track clicks in GA4 - that's organic. But both tags will fire when I click the button attributing simultaneously to Google ads & GA. How can I tell whether the person clicked "Link Button" came from Google ads or from google organic search?

I just wanted to point out that you created both tags with the same event name, "button_click". But at the end, I see "link_click" was used in the reports.

When I click on my button I don't see the element being tracked in the tag assistant page. Anyone have any ideas on why this may be?
