I was about to purchase a Ford Ranger XLT but decided to go with BYD.
So yes, they are losing customers 😂

When is Paul doing a review of Byd Shark_6. Can't wait for that.

It looks way better than a boring ranger. It'll be more reliable as well . People are so safe and conservative here. Good to see something different.

Kia Ute designers were inspired by Mahindra and SsangYong. The BYD definitely wins out of those 3 lineups.

Well I was gonna get a Raptor, but now getting the BYD, so that’s at least one customer 😂

Toyota and Ford will definitely lose sales to BYD.... I've been a Ford fan for the past 13 years. Owned over 6xT6 rangers. And I can't wait to trade in my ranger wildtrak for a Shark.

Toyota and ford have nothing to worry about? 😂

Those of us who can remember will recall Valiant, Dodge, Leyland, Chrysler and Bedford saying the same thing about Datsun and Toyota in the

The speed in which china is innovating is terrifying for the major legacy brands and they are 100% worried about brands like BYD 😂, the only hope they have is tarrifs and sanctions to protect their home markets but they have both lost the east asia market places, which was a gigantic chunk of their revenue, and that has been absorbed by brands like BYD.

Would never have considered buying a new Ute due to exorbitant prices. But the BYD on a novated lease with no FBT is just too good to pass up! Told a friend at work I was looking at this deal and he bought one as well on the same package. Told my son yesterday about it and he asked me if they did a SUV as his forester is 10 years old now. He went down and test drove the Seal 6 and bought one on the spot, they had a $3000 off sale including a free fast charger, he also went novated lease even though he has the cash.

Kia Tasman ... what happened? who designed the front and based on what list of requirements and design queues? those lights are prone to being damaged very quickly ... they should be placed where the edges of the front grille is

Ford and Toyota should be very worried. Spoke to one Brisbane dealer. They sold 30 sharks yesterday alone! The ranger PHEV is around $40k dearer and only offers 40km range. I'm a ranger fan but why would I get one?

The Shark and Ranger PHEVs should not be directly compared. One is an ICE ute with EV bits bolted on and the other is pretty much the opposite. The Ranger elec only power is 75kw and has a 12.8kw battery. That should be leisurely, and good luck achieving the stated 45 klm range. The Shark is 185kw elec only and 80k range. You would probably not buy the Shark if towing is a priority, but then you probably wouldn't go for Ranger PHEV either. The diesel will quite likely match/beat it on fuel consumption too... Oh and then there's the price. Stand by.

The best thing about the Kia Tasman is the interior. As it's the only place you can't see what it looks on the outside. 😁

The Tasman looks as if it is a blind car - no 'eyes'. Had two corollas over 15 years - one burst a radiator pipe on a hot day and that was the total problems I had with the two of them. Cheap to service, utterly reliable. Love them. Also, until the end of the video I wondered who the 'sook' was in the office!! Congrats on the 500K!

Hey experts. What are dimensions of the Tasman V's the EV9? Could this be a platform for the EV9 skateboard? Could this be a BYD killer?

Lightbar and spotlights would fix front end some guard extensions and mudflaps bit of black paint... Price might be under competition... Bronco is kind of similar box shape... US video had different engine not maybe full off road version later...
