Whenever I hired someone for a technical position, it was someone that had a strong passion for the task at hand. Maybe someone that would do a similar task in their spare time, as a hobby/pastime. Elon Musk early life is no different than mine
I was working on a skeleton model of the internet myself, in fact created a skeleton model of Youtube prior to Youtube. Mine wasn't called Youtube of course by the same concept.
But when you are creating something that has not been created yet it's difficult because you are not thinking in the same terms as when things are already created and laid out for you and you're looking backwards at the creation, you are in the position to have to create it first. This includes coming up with how do I get this to there, or that to here.
In other words, what is "upload" or "download" before the world is familiar with these terms.

What is a file transfer before the internet exists but a physical piece of paper that you pick up and place in another slot.
When all that humans know is only their physical world and not an online world even the word "online" is like what???? What's "online" ???

But I never became a multibillionaire yet I was in the same position in life as Elon early on.

In fact, come to think of it, I recall talking to a guy named Elon years ago and told him all about my idea.
Ok I'm joking but Elon you owe me anyhow. LOL.
I'll just take 00001% of your money and I'll be happy. :)
