The most difficult moment of my life was also in 2008. I think I had maybe $5 left in my pocket. I could either get a Big Mac from McDonalds and potentially run out of gas on the way home OR I could put the money in gas and go to sleep hungry. I either give myself gas to get home and go to work the next day or feast like a king and I might be walking home and riding a bike the next day. I could also split it and get $2.5 in gas and 2 items from the dollar menu. I too split the $5 and got two McDoubles back when they were a dollar and put a gallon of gas in my car. I ended up having just enough gas to get home and go to work the next day which was payday. I filled my tank for the following week and went straight back to that McDonalds and got that Big Mac, and NOT JUST THE SANDWICH. 2 apple pies and a McFlurry. Proudest moment ever!
