The Alpha Scattering Experiment - A Level Physics

Here's the experiment that Rutherford carried out so that we now have the nuclear model of an atom. He disproved JJ Thomson's 'plum pudding' model, which says that the atom is a gigantic positive charge with electrons distributed evenly inside the 'pudding'.
