NO. It's not worth it. If you have a universally consumed product like a movie, it would be best if you attract the most people and if it's based on a previous content that has a fanbase, then don't deviate so much as to make the product unrecognizable by the fans because the new comers won't stay and support it all the way. Then they take a different approach: Insulting fans and people who don't like or despise their product to further loose them and more on the way.
