What Does Space Force Actually Do?

The United States Space Force, is it a joke? Or is it legitimate? When the space force was first announced it was met with confusion about just what they’d actually do. After all, it’s not like we would be deploying a bunch of soldiers to the moon, would we?

But this was no joke. While most of the initial personnel come from the USAF, as many of the duties involving the US satellite fleet were handled there, the space force is now seeing its first classes of space force cadet graduates and it will soon take on a very real identity of its own.

The space force has since gone on to consolidate its assets and mission, largely taking on the task of getting military satellites into orbit, managing and directing those satellites, and working on the next generation of space weaponry.

And if you think that the idea of space conflict is something way off in the future, you may want to think again. Countries like China and Russia already have plenty of space weapons in their arsenal like lasers, missiles, and cyber weapons all aimed at eliminating the US presence in space.

It bothered me so much when people were ragging on the space force when it was anounced. It just made sense considering the path humanity and our enemies were going. People just roasted it because trump anounced it and for some reason they got it in their head that trump was trying to play star wars while trying to nuke everyone cause apparently hes a 5 year old to them

The cool thing is that during my graduation ceremony the CSSF showed up to speak at the event because the graduating space force trainees were the first ones to be trained under a fully space force curriculum

Always remember there is actually laws that restrict weapons in space, so if China and Russia do indeed have numerous weapons jn space, they’re breaking multiple laws which isn’t surprising
