Don't understand the hate for space force. Space travel will become more and more prevalent and eventually become completely common. Setting up a department dedicated to it early is just smart although the uniforms do look kinda cheesy lmao.

Whether good or bad I’m curious what aspect of the uniform was effected in making it for women first and men later, and what differences in the pictured product would exist if it were reversed? As a woman I’m honestly wondering since of all the things that could have been said in regards to the designs existence, a point of priority that referenced past gender inequality was in the first few sentences that were reported. Perhaps designing for both genders simultaneously, which would still be a “first, ” is just what, too equal? Regardless I’m assuming it must of had a notable impact on the version we see here in some way when all other points were about the look of it. If it’s just a “finally women first” thing, the comments I’m reading seem to be ranking it as what might be the most visually disliked military uniform of them all, and I’m assuming that wouldn’t be something any gender would want to put their stamp on especially in a manner of pride. “This uniform design was based on women first…and it’s freakin’ hideous!” Yea not very flattering but hey, it’s something of great importance in a society striving for “equality”…I guess. Haha It just makes today’s feminism look really petty in my opinion, and I would hope for something a little more progressive and inspiring if that’s going to be a topic worthy of notice on a national news report; or are most of us women still stuck at the bra burning stage of instigating forward thinking and equalizing our social construct? I mean seriously what’s next, camouflaged tampons and maxi pads and tactical combat ready maternity uniforms for a possible war on alien terrorism???Smh 🤦‍♀️

Now, there are three military service branches wearing Blue Uniforms, the Air Force, Coast Guard and now the Space Force. The Space Force really need to rethink the colors of this uniform. Space is Black the Earth's sky is Blue. Therefore, a Black jacket with gray slacks would be more distinctive and created a better connection between the Space Force and it's Space mission.
